Terms of Service

By visiting our website or creating invoices with our tools, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please review them carefully.

Effective Date: October 29, 2026

These terms outline the rules and standards for using TryInvoiceMaker. If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue using the website.

1. Permitted Use & Acceptable Behavior

TryInvoiceMaker is a free business tool for creating invoices, estimates, quotes, receipts, purchase orders, and proforma invoices.

You agree to use this generator solely for legitimate business purposes. You may not use this service to create deceptive bills, impersonate other businesses, demand money you are not owed, or engage in unlawful commercial activity.

2. Complete Document Ownership

You retain 100% legal ownership of your company logo, business name, line items, prices, client records, and notes.

TryInvoiceMaker claims zero ownership or intellectual property rights over the invoices you create. Because documents are processed directly on your computer or phone, we do not view, copy, or save your work.

3. Non-Processor Status & No Tax Advice

TryInvoiceMaker is solely a document creator. We are not a bank, escrow provider, or payment processor. Adding a payment link (such as Stripe or PayPal) or wire transfer instructions to an invoice directs your customer to your external account; we never touch or hold funds.

We do not offer legal, financial, or tax advice. Invoicing rules and sales tax requirements differ across states and countries. You are responsible for ensuring your invoices meet your local business and tax obligations.

4. Service Availability & Disclaimer

This service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. While we make every effort to maintain accurate math calculations and standard PDF output across all modern browsers, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or compatibility with every device or PDF reader.

5. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall TryInvoiceMaker or its creators be held liable for any direct or indirect damages, commercial disputes with your clients, lost revenue, or data loss resulting from clearing your browser history or cache.
