Effective Date: October 29, 2026
This policy explains how TryInvoiceMaker stores information on your device to make the invoice creator work smoothly.
1. What is Browser Local Storage?
Rather than storing your invoices on an external database, our tool uses your device's own browser storage. This acts like a private notepad inside your web browser.
When you type line items, add your logo, or change colors, this data is saved locally on your computer or phone so that you do not lose your work if your tab closes or your battery runs out.
2. What We Store on Your Device
We only store the minimal information necessary for the generator to function:
| Purpose | What is Stored | Where it Stays |
|---|---|---|
| Invoice Draft | Your current items, rates, and contact details | Your device only |
| Display Theme | Your Light or Dark mode visual preference | Your device only |
| Selected Currency | Your preferred currency code (e.g., USD, EUR, GBP) | Your device only |
3. Zero Advertising or Tracking Cookies
We do not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or third-party behavioral trackers.
We do not track which other websites you visit, we do not build advertising profiles about you, and we do not sell your activity to marketing companies.
4. How to Clear or Delete Your Saved Information
You can wipe your stored data at any time:
- Click “Clear & Reset Draft” on the invoice page to erase your current document.
- Open your browser settings and select “Clear Browsing Data / Cookies” to remove all site memory.
5. Questions?
If you have any questions regarding how we handle your browser storage, feel free to contact us via our support page.
